Brookfield Zoo

On Thursday of spring break we went to the zoo. I set it up with my nanny group on meetup.com to try and get some more people to go with us. We met Tammy and her charge M there as well as Tara who brought two girls with her. It was a pretty warm day and just about eveyone else in the Chicago area was there too! Despite the crowd we still had a good time. Here is a picture of M and E in the kangaroo's pouch with their new friend M.

While we were there, we stopped to play on the playground. I did not really like this because there were so many kids there that it was hard to keep track of E and M at the same time. Maybe when it is not so crowded it is better. This is also where we stopped to have lunch.

After lunch we saw the penquins. It was hard to get close and watch them so I didn't get any pictures. It was really crowded in there and the kids were getting tired so this was our last stop.

Before heading home we got some ice cream to help cool us down. Here are some pictures of the kids relaxing with their ice cream.

Next time we go I plan to bring the wagon so that E doesn't get as tired.

M slept on the way home so she didn't need to take a nap when we got home. I put the kids in cooler clothing and let them play in the water. Here is a picture of M cooling off.
